I attended Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York and I graduated in March 1999.
In the summer of 1999, I passed the NYS Licensed massage state exam and the exam for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I am currently licensed and registered in New York and recertification for National Certification is in the planning.
I completed certification as a Holistic Nurse (March 1, 2000 - March 1, 2005) with the American Holistic Nurses' Corporation (HNC). I have some energy palpation training.
After attending St. Lawrence Psychatric School of Nursing 1972-1975, I passed the RN boards for New York. I gained nursing experience in the Albany Medical Center in obstetrical and high risk neonatology units and did some infant ambulance transports to Albany Medical.
I worked at Tompkin's County Hospital in Ithaca, NY in Obstetrics and Gynecology and I served nights as a nursing supervisor in the Tompkins County nursing home facility.
As a nursing assistant for oral surgeon, Dr Paul Ingrassi in Ithaca, New York (1976-1979), I also gained experience in pre and postop care in dental and oral surgery.
I am devoted to my family and I worked in our local veterinary hospital from 1980 - to 1995.
Currently I am attending New England Cranial Sacral Center, a two year certification program for craniosacral and myofascia education in Burlington, Vermont
Volunteered in: Laleche League, and Lamaze for expectant and nursing mothers, as a clown with clown ministry doing home visitations with our local Christian Clown Ministry, served as a greeter at our church. I volunteered time at Beekmantown Elementary School and with the Brownie girl Scout troop. I also have some experience with energy work, Contact Reflex Analysis as a massage volunteer with Lake Placid's Triathalon, Hospice, and with our CVPH's "Doorways to Healing", a cancer retreat for women at Valcour Lodge. (1976-present),and Lake Placid's triathalon.
